Big ShakeUp for KUBB

Self is fortunate the cupbard is overflowing with talent — while young and unproven there is talent none-the-less.

Giddens parting words:

“With everything that has transpired with this situation, coach and I are in total agreement that a fresh start would be best for Kansas and me,” Giddens said in a statement. “I’m sorry for what has transpired. Regardless of guilt or innocence, I put our program and myself in a bad situation. That does not take away from the fact that I loved my time here. I appreciate the support my teammates, the coaching staff and fans have shown me.”

Bucknell gets Bitchslapped

OK — If I had a top three productivity killing sites, Whatifsports would make the cut. The site allows you to simulate match-ups from teams in different eras. Of course….I had to relive the March travesty in the current era. This time the Bison were put down

Back in the Saddle

Man have I ever neglected this blog. OK…I am back and with a renewed motivation to maintain some consistency and level of commitment. Sounds eerily like my fitness regiment. And why this new-found interest you might ask—well here are a few areas that are driving the editorial calendar:

1. Current Season of Six Feet Under…and the Wire coming soon there after
2. Upcoming weddings, an Amarillo reunion on the Guadalupe, and a steady steam of visitors to the Bay Area – I am sure someone/s will be providing fodder at each event
3. Upcoming college football season – a new platform for FBB
4. Italy this fall — the JuJu Chrons get a better format
5. Word that WP will soon be supporting forums – we will give this another go
6. John, Aspinal, and Matt giving me disapproving looks when I walk by

But what really got me going was a WordPress related focus group I recently took part in. Though I cannot go into details, the discussion involved the various bloggers with an affinity for WordPress and a company looking to expand their site hosting service to include WordPress. In short, the dialog flowed — meandered might be a better term — for over three hours and could have continued much longer for me had I not realized that I jilted the wife on our Six Feet Under date. Anyway…. remotivated and recharged to rant and rave on the galleries.
