It was a good day

Truly good days are worth mentioning. Highlights include:

  • I was able to purge a difficult week with the SF Road Runners. I only went eight but it did me a world of good. We met at Beach Chalet and this week’s route was in Golden Gate Park. It could not have been a more perfect day for a run — mid 60s, sunny, and the slightest of a breeze throughout the run. There seemed to be hundreds of runners in GGP today.
  • The Gallery Blogs back to a respectable state.
  • Creatch, Atticus, and I also got in an awesome nap.
  • Julie crossed a major milestone professionally.
  • We’re finally moving forward on a piece of art we have been scouting for some time. When the studio curator brought the piece to the house to display where we had intended it would be hung it turned out to be a no-go. We found an alternate place that turned out to be better than the original – one that I was initially totally against — and decided to pull the trigger on the piece. We’re both excited as we are finally feel we are investing more than the mortage in our home.
  • We wrapped up the day with a great dinner at our favorite neighborhood restaurant — RNM. If you plan on visiting we will probably work it into the itinerary
  • It was a very good day.

Whoa…we (Jerry & Sharon Kay) are VERY impressed….”moving forward on a piece of art”. Can’t wait to see it. Guess it makes the greatly enlarged Kinko photo of our wedding in front of the fireplace kind of….”tacky”? Oh, well. We love it.
All this just kidding. Glad for you two and really DO want to see the original art work. We miss you.
